I've used the saline spray for my daughter in conjunction to the "booger thing" The booger thing alone may not work because the congestion may not be within reach - that's where the saline spray comes handy. It softens the mucus and helps bring it down.

I'd try a vaporizer or sit with her in a hot steamy bathroom. I've been told to use saline drops too for that, but I've honestly never tried it.

Try Cleaning her nose (if its not her nose clean her mouth) out with the bugger snatcher (the hospital should have supplied you with one) then rub a pea size of baby rub (vix)on her back Not Chest. It may just be a lilltle extra mucus in her chest. And if she is still congested after a few hours u should take her to the hospital to make sure its nothing serious.
