My 20 month old daughter just started wetting through her diapers at night and soaking the bed. She only gets her bottle of milk before bed which she's been getting since she was born, but now all of a sudden she is soaking her diapers. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do about it? There has got to be an easier way than washing her crip mattress cover and sheet everyday.....

get diaper doublers. They're literally like maxi pads for babies. You just put it in the diaper at night and it absorbs the brunt of it! We had to use them for a while when my daughter was itty bitty!

i would try to get her off of that night time bottle, that might help. but, if it's all of a sudden and it persists even after taking that night bottle, you might want to bring her into the doc, and make sure she doesn't have any type of urinary infection or something. i'm not trying to sound paranoid, but she can't tell you what is wrong.

Set your alarm and get up to change her. Also, you might want to go to the pediatrician to run tests to make sure there isn't anything causing this that might be an indication of something more......

I would start weaning her off the night time bottle. At her age she does not need a full bottle before bed. I would just start by reducing the amoung of milk you give by one ounce every week or so. Also make sure you are brushing teeth after bottle.

Thanks for the reply. I actually am using the largest size diaper for her other than going to pullups and I have one of those covers too.... I am kinda at a loss. We've bought her a potty chair and have tried teaching her, but she is not ready yet. She doesn't associate pee and poo with going on the potty, or even realizes what that is for that matter.

Thanks again :) I am sure we'll figure something out :)
