My little one woke up this morning very raspy and hoarse. She was at the doctor on Wednesday to get a mild cough checked out, her lungs were clear then, so I'm not terribly worried, but I want to know if there's anything I can do to help her out! I steamed up the bathroom and held her in there for ten minutes or so this morning and I am trying to keep her from crying...is there anything else I can do for now? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Other than steam, pushing fluids and trying not to let her cry, there isn't much else you can do. Our daughter does the same thing if she has a cold, gets very raspy and hoarse, and that's all I do - push fluids, steam and try not to let her cry too much - she's 16 months and my pediatrician said that it wasn't a big worry as long as her lungs sound clear :)
