Any ideas on how to soothe her? Doing Tylenol...

I would stick with the tylenol for pain. I always used infant motrin because it stays in their system longer and you don't have to administer as often. Motrin is also good for reducing swelling as well as controlling pain and fever. Unfortunately her age limits what you can do. I hope she feels better soon.

There isn't much you can do. Help her get good sleep and push fluids. Distraction will go a long way. At night have a humidifier or cool mist vaporizer in her room. If the doc says okay, Baby Vicks vaporub might help (on chest or neck, but watch for irritation). Warm, steamy baths are kind of nice. Essentially you cando for her what you could do for yourself when you were pregnant, just no medications unless directed by the doctor.

She's going to want lots of snuggles and attention. She's going to need lots of sleep and liquids to help ove this through her system. Good luck and I hope she feels better soon.

Thank you! She slept for 11 hours last night! The Dr. also said that I could use a little baby Orajel on her gums (she is teething as well) and that would help kill two birds with one stone. Numb her mouth and her throat a little. That seemed to help her a little more too. Just can't do the Orajel before a feeding for risk of choking. Thank you so much for responding to my question. Wasn't really sure I'd get an answer!
