most kids are like that, so more fruit, vegetable, juices and lots of water. I have a natural fiber product that I take everyday, tastes like orange juice and is the best for adults and children. Message me on my wall if you want to !

I have the same problem with my 2yr old daughter. The best I can come up with is this.. we have had to limit the amout of cheese and milk that she takes in in a day.. and boost the water intake. We also give her an over the counter fiber supplement - in gummy form (made by Pedia-Lax... but if you give your dtr a multivitamin, you have to space them out and not give together). The recommended dose is one gummy, three times a day, but we are able to get by with only one per day. Also, make sure that she is active to get those bowels moving (but what 6 yo isn't?). Good Luck!

My son used to get constipated when he was an infant and toddler. Once it was so bad that we had x-rays done and the dr. told us to use Philip's Milk of Magnesia to make him go. We had to use it for 3 days to empty his bowels and then use Miralax every day until he was pooping every single day. We used the Miralax for over a month. Then, we made sure that he was eating lots of high fiber foods such as fruits and veggies, and drinking lots of water. It worked for us and he has not had a problem in well over a year now. Good luck to you!
