My 7month old daughter has been going down for hour and a half naps regularly until she started to pull herself up. Now I am afraid she will fall out of her crib. I have stayed in the room to try and keep her from getting up that doesn't seem to work? I am frustrated not sure what to do.

As long as she is safe in her crib (lowest setting, nothing to stand on, nothing to smother with),let her do it. It's a new skill that she will practice until it makes you batty. You will probably want to adjust her nap routine though. She's probably getting close to consolidating to fewer naps anyway. Also, encourage her to do that with the chairs or sofa and remind her that her bed is for laying down and sleeping. Good luck and I promise this will pass.

I went through this with my son. First, put the crib on the lowest setting. If she can't lean over the rail, she can't fall out. As for standing up, I kept going back and laying him back down til he gave up. After a week, he started laying himself back down. Also, make sure that there is nothing in the crib that she can climb on.
