i have a 8 month old baby girl and she only really falls asleep after her feed on the breast, she sleeps through then night so thats not a worry, but i have a 20 month old son aswell and its getting harder and harder during the day trying to put her to sleep when he is around.. my partner and i go 2 bali in feb and my mother inlaw is babysitting so i want to try and wean her off the breast by then so she dosnt rely on it then! iv tried every dummy/pacifier on the market, she hates them! occasionally she will fall asleep with a bottle. she will fall asleep when you rock her but it takes a long time and its hard work, not to mention she screams the whole time!! its not fair on my son as he dosnt get alot of time with me to play ect..

just need to get her into some sort of daytime sleep pattern without having to put her on the breast!

Thanks all xx

Its good that she sleeps through even though she goes to sleep on the breast (many babies don't).

There are a couple of methods you can try, this is very lazy of me, but its getting late and I should be in bed! Please have a read of what I posted in this thread (link below). These methods will work for you too.

You are welcome to PM me about anything I said if you have questions.
