My baby has crying screaming fits everytime I walk out of the room or if I don't hold her all the time. What do i do?

It's normal at 7 months. She needs to learn to self soothe, your going to probably have a very loud month or two but she will out grow it. Just come back in the room every few minutes or so and she will learn that you will come back to her if she needs you. It's tough I know but this is one of those situations where tough love may be required. Good luck Mom and remember to take lots of breaks when your spouse is around!

how old is your baby? you should try playing with her on the floor, not holding her, then moving far from her, but still in the same room, one she is comfortable you can leave the room, but still talk, so she can hear your voice, once she is comfortable with that, then leave her.

She has seperation anxiety, ( mine did/does too) she hasnt learned object perminatnce yet. so in her mind every time you walk out of the room you are GONE FOREVER !!! and when you walk back IN the room you are NOT the same mommie that walked out, you are a NEW mommie... it will pass. you just have to let it run its course. I would take my DD with me.... but its seperation anxiety and its due to her not knowing object perminance yet...
