you should be able to get an app before then if not try and get a phone app but if you are really worried you should go to doc and let them know how worried you are they should be able to give you advice but if you are concerned go by your instinct x

we bought the Vicks plug ins along with a room humidifier to help break up the mucus, but dont use it too much as it can increase fluids in the lungs and cause infections. Johnson's and Johnson's vapor bath worked a little bit as well. our ped also told us to hold your baby on your lap, head pointed down a bit on an angle and toward one knee moreso, and gently but firmly cup his back(place your hand like you were trying to scoop up some water from the tap) Do it on both sides, a few times a day if you need to. This really works, its a massage therapy technnique used on clients with breathing problems. Hope your little guy gets better soon!

Vicks vapor plugs ( get them at any store), or turn the bath water on very hot to create steam and you to go sit in there for about 15 minutes...

My son has allergy induced asthma and those thing typically work for him, if im out of breathing meds..

But if he gets where hes not eatting and just sleeping or laying around you should really take him to the ER

If the baby has a cold. Use a humidifier in the room that the baby sleeps in so the nose could keep running. If you don't have on but the shower on hot so you have stream in the bathroom. Sit with the baby on the toilet for a while. that should help for the runny nose to keep running. You could also use a bulb syringe like the one you got from the hospital to suck the mucus from the nose, please don't put it to far up the nose. Also saline drops for the nose help. Please only put one drop, the bottle is big and the saline comes out pretty fast. Also put something on the bottom of the mattress like a flat pillow to lift the head of the crib so the baby is a bit elevated when he sleeps.
If he doesn't have a cold then you should so to the doctor or hospital so they could assess him more closely. Hope this help you.

i would really recommend that you go and consult a pediatrician. that is a must because if he has a hard time breathing we are talking of oxygen that supplies life to the lungs and to the brain-two of the things that is still developing in his body at the moment.if it will help, use a nasal aspirator to help him.try to give more liquid within the day...again, go see a doctor as soon as you can...does he have fever?
