I say it cant hurt to try and would think it fantastic to potty train at that age. I plan to try my boy at 12 months. My mum used to look after kids from home and she potty trained 3 boys at the age of 12 months so give it a go. If she is ready great, if she is not she will soon let u know! good luck.

I say YES! Buy a potty and sit it by the toliet. When you go, she can go sit on hers too! That is what I did with my girls!!! I never pushed it, just kinda went with what they wanted to do. My daughters are 18 mos and 2 1/2 and both are potty trained!!! They tell me now, MaMa I pee pee and then go sit on the potty. It is so nice not having that diaper bill!!! :) If you need anything else...please just ask!!! Stay Blessed, Liz

I have 3 children and with my oldest she was potty trained at 2 and that's because I tried to hard to push her to use the potty! My son was potty trained at about 20 months because he knew when he needed to pee and poop so by 2 years old he was finished with diapers and pullups all together even at nights! I also have a 10 months old and she on the other hand is no where near even thinking about potty training! If your little girl can tell you when she needs to go it wouldn't hurt! At least to introduce her to it! My best advice would be to bring a book and read to her while she is sitting on the potty makes the time pass faster and keeps them on the toilet long enough for something to happen even if it's an accident! LOL

i would say so, i tried pushing my daughter early and i think it made thing's worse, she became very ancious at the idea of going full stop at one point. so i took a step back and at around 18 months she just went to the potty herself sat on it but didn't do anything on it. everything progressed from there and was fully potty trained just before she was 2 and actually mostley used the toilet, good luck
