Nothing to worry about at all - kids can have the appearance of teething for a long time before teeth actually begin cutting also.

All kids are different so don't worry if your little ones timeline doesn't marry up with say, the neighbours kid or whoever. It's the same as when kids choose to crawl, walk, talk etc...each to their own!

My oldest didn't get her first tooth until she was 10 months old - just one on the bottom! By her first birthday though she had all the 4 front ones. My youngest was just over 7 months when she got her first tooth. It also took her until her first birthday to get all 4 of the front teeth though!

All children are different my daughter was nearly 10 months when she started, and then got the teeth coming through two at a time. Now at 18 months she has all her front teeth top and bottom and the side ones have just started too come through four at a time. She has been to the dentist and he is very pleased.

I suggest that you enjoy what your daugther is doing and she will start teething when she is ready, however when the teeth do start to come through get a toothbursh, and brush the gums as well as the teeth it helps with the pain and buy in the calpol.

Hope this helps

Best wishes Hannah
