I'm a bit sad because i think that all of my friends disappeared when i started to be a mother. I dont know if they are just fake friends or doesnt want to bother my motherhood life, or just busy on their own lives. I tried to contact them but they only answer my questions and a few chat, and that's it. Unlike the past years that we were so close,....My old friends are still together, those that are still single and that are not a full time mother like me...:( i don't know now how to deal with this kind of loneliness to my childhood friends, I'm confused. :( dont know what to do...

Thank you for your very encouraging advice, you're right, im wasting a lot of my time on updating myself on whats currently happening to my friends on facebook. I will try to lessen my time on facebook. ill try to keep myself busy on my kid and other things. :)

Sorry to hear that. When I moved to the city it became exactly like that because it was too costly to even get in touch. Then I started seeing those lonely posts on social media by friends in the city, even single lady friends and I know we all are battling the same sort of challenge and it doesn't feel that bad any more.

I do get to see my single lady friends whenever they come from the country, thou the connection is shifting. It's a process we have to live with. I tried to keep busy with my children and back yard landscaping so I don't feel like I have missed out too much. I also less frequent social media to avoid being envious. Motherhood comes with changes, when I got married, my family stopped calling me that frequent, instead, they would talk to my young sister who is living with me instead. I feel at lost too that those relationships can be lost with career changes and motherhood too.

Hang in there, fine your own happiness and slowly leave the past behind. There's so much to look forward too. Am thinking of hooking up with the local Florist Association, I am sure I'll meet many wonderful mums out there. New friends.
