Ever since the school starts my son keeps on complaining someone push him, somebody kick his knee and a lot more...My son has autism but the school never did had an evaluation about it...He can't tell me exactly who did it to him...But yesterday school nurse called me and said that someone kick his private parts...2 of my sons classmates wanted to play with him but my son said "NO". Upon leaving they followed him and kick his private parts(thats accdg to the teacher's story).I've ask the teacher what will happen to those two boys they say they've been given a warning...I'm so worried about my son especially he got autism...What should i do to protect my son from being pick on in school....

Tomorrow call the principal of your son's school. Ask for a meeting with her. Also ask that the school nurse and your son 's teacher are present. Tell them exactly what you have written here (you can even make a copy of this post to take with you). Insist on this meeting to happen within the week. It is important to get this stopped now . Tell them you want a written plan of the actions they will be taking to correct this. Your son has a right to feel safe in school and this bullying must stop. The principal and the teacher are the ones with the power to make this happen. If they won't meet with you within a short period of time or if they take no action, then tell them you are going to the school board with your concerns. There is a lot of awareness of bullying now and schools are developing a zero tolerance for it. Your son deserves to be in the right situation so he can thrive. You are his voice...Go Mom!
