my seven month baby is only drinking 3ozs of milk every 3 hours is that ok

My sisters baby only drank 3-4 ozs of formula until her little girls was a year. Talk to your doctor, as long as your baby is gaining weight and is happy I don't think you should worry too much.

I agree with Sara and would do as jamie has said. By 7 months my son was drinking 6-8 oz perfeeding with formula. He is now 10 months old and takes 8-10 oz every 4-5 hours. But he also eats solids.

I'd ask your child's pediatrician. You don't have to go in to his/her office, a simple phone call works. Good luck!

the answer would depend on the type of milk....breast, formula, or cow? It would also depend on if baby is gaining weight and making an appropriate number of diapers.
