My son has bad breathe at times...what could possibly be the cause?

My son is 3 months old and he has bad breathe at night and sometimes during the day! He had a slight cold from the change of weather and he also got his shots a week prior to his cold. I called his pedetrician and she said it could possibly be from the mucous in his throat. He is well over his cold now and STILL has it! I sterilize his bottles, nipples and pacifiers every evening as well. I'm pretty sure im not alone here! If this has happened to your child, what was the cause of it and what did you do to clear it up? Thanks!

My daughter got it (an still gets it) whenever she had an infection of her throat, sinuses or ears. She doesn't make any IgA or IgM, two parts of the 5 parts of the immune system and so has had to go on antibiotics for long periods of time. She basically got an ear infection at age 4 months that lasted until she was 3 years old.

My son who is nearly 3yrs old, gets bad breath whenever he has a throat infection like Tonsillitis, due to the bacteria in the throat. Once he is healthy again, it goes away.

My kids just have dragon breath. They are older now and they STILL have it. Not much you can really do about it.
