Dont worry about it, Tash... my 2nd boy began walking at 19 months; he just up and walked! (thoroughly shocked me when he did!) and he hasnt stopped since... realise that every child will develop in their own pace.. Though i do agree with Salome that if you think that there is something wrong (and you would know if there is), consult ur doctor.

my friends daughter only started to crawl at 17months...and no sign of walking yet for her at 19months. every kid is different.....15 months is avrage age to start walking but loads of kids will do it before and loads will do it after... its a bit like teething really...some kids are born with a few teeth and some wont get them until well over a year old. i wouldnt worry, he will do it when his good and ready. as long as he seems happy and is doing well :)

Hi Natasha! For me, I think you should not be worried my third child had her first step about her 16 months...before i was worried like you because her 2 siblings walked about their 11 months...i hardly consult their pedia regarding this matter...but if you feel that there is something wrong with your child...just don't hesitate to ask you doctor about this...you know...we have our MOTHER INSTINCT...God bless and my prayers for you and your family...

no some children are slower than others he just might not feel safe enough to take that first step just make sure you do leg exercises with him and try walking with him just hold his hand and let him walk holding your hand yeah its a slow a long walk but i did it with my children in fact on of my children cant remember which one i think maybe dylan or wyatt didnt walk until after they were one
