my son is 2 yrs old and he says nothing but mama. and he screams all the time....everyone says that once he starts saying some words then he ll stop screaming. but its not happening ... and now i have started to loose patience and when he screams , i start shouting and then i get a headache...well may be its not a big issue but the thing is that i also have a 4 yr old daughter and the two of them r always fighting...over very small things....that makes me loose my patience very quickly.....HELP

I would just take a deep breath and stop yelling. Just talk in a slow, low, quiet voice and don't repeat yourself. They will learn to stop and listen. As for your son screaming when he wants something for example milk just prompt him to say it and don't give it to him till he says it. He will pick it up. Maybe your kids need some attention apart from eachother and when they do fight just seperate them and make them both choose something different to play with and if that doesn't work I'm sure your house has some lonely corners that could use some standing in. Good luck and remember just breath... if you are yelling there is no wonder as to why your kids yell.

Your son may need speech therapy, my step-son didn't start saying words until he was 4 and had to be in occupational/speech therapy to get him to the same level as his peers.

I THINK YOU SHOULD TAKE YOU SON TO have his ears tested. if he cant hear he cant learn to talk.
