Our son eats whatever we are eating (within reason of course). Just make sure to cut it up into reasonable pieces depending on the food and texture. His fave is extra meaty spaghetti and corn.

I atrted feeding our daughter everything we ate. I just cut it smaller. She didn't have much for teeth. She's 17 months now and only has 10. She could even eat steak as long as it was cut small. Noodles or any type were her favorite. Just stay away from hard things like uncooked veggies. Nuts and popcorn should be avoided too, they are choking hazards.

Hi Pattie,
My daughter turned 1 on February 25th. Below is a list of information that I got from a book that my daughter's pediatrician gave me.

Breakfast:
1/2 cup iron-fortified cereal or 1 cooked egg. (no more than 3 per week)
You can add 1/2 banaba (sliced) or 2-3 large strawberries (sliced) to the cereal.

Snack:
1 slice of toast or whole wheat muffin
1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese
1 cup whole milk

Lunch:
1/2 sandwich- tuna,egg salad,or cold cuts
1/2 cup cooked green vegetables

Snack:
1-2 ounces cubed cheese
1 cup whole milk

Dinner:
2-3 ounces cooked meat, ground or diced
1/2 cup cooked yellow or orange vegetables
1/2 cup pasta, rice, potato
1/2 cup whole milk

Hope this helps a bit.

Steamed fruits/veggies, meats, cheese, yogurt, crackers, the possibilities are endless! Just make sure it is soft for baby to gum. He could probably eat what you eat, I personally would just stay away from added salt or sugar (including artificial sweetener).
