He is unlikely to get constipated just on a small serve of rice cereal once a day. Yes it is normal for it to get thicker. You can try not giving him food for 2 days and make sure it returns to his normal milk-only poo, then you know its just the rice cereal. It is also normal for baby poo to go to more of a paste than liquid between 3-6 months old, this is their digestive system maturing, so it could also be that.

it is normal for his poop to get thicker...i actually started my little guy when he was 1 month and 1/2 to help him sleep longer at night and sometimes he wouldnt poop for 2 or 3 days and thatt it was thick..his doctor sd it was alright and that as he gets used to having the cereal he will get more just gotta give little one some time for his little body to takes longer for them to get used it being so little, it does help if you give him a little bit of baby juice, it will keep him from getting constipated

I wouldnt worry. If it gets hard and dry, then hes constipated and and you will want to do something about it then.

It's very normal. Even a little bit of solids makes their poos much thicker. If he becomes constipated you can give him some pureed prunes.

yea its normal itshould change be his diet is changing an if he does get constapated it depends on his age on what you can do if he ios 6 months or can atleast sit up with or without support then the have stage 2 prunes most moms will swear by applae juice that it work so great i personally dont think it does but if he is younger then you could try that also
