My son Aaden was diagnosed with Sternomastoid Torticollis. I read up on it and it is a muscle condition that limits his neck range of motion on one side. His is on his right side and so his ear almost touches his right shoulder and he looks left. I was referred to physical therapy and he may need nesk surgery. I was just wondering if anyone else has or is going thru this.

We found out that my daughter had Torticollis when she was around 2 months old. Her head was tilted in the same way. We did physio for about 6 months (3 days a week and stretches at home) and we're lucky enough that she didn't need surgery.

It took a lot of stretching and a whole LOT of crying but she's a healthy and happy 15 month old now.

I completely understand the stress you must be feeling! Good luck and hope your little one is better soon.
