I try and at least go for a walk eveyday.  I might still be pushing the stroller but at least I am out of the house and my son usually sleeps then and it feels like alone time.

I know how you feel. My hubby is deployed so I've been without a break for 7 months. I try to get some alone time in my room or the tub when the kiddos are sleeping. My oldest knows that even if he doesn't take a nap, Mommy still needs her quiet time.

You maybe able to find a babysitting co-op in your area. I was in one once and we traded points instead of money. 1 point per kid per hour.

I hear that my husband works construction so he is gone all day we have two children 3 y.o and 2 y.o and some days I think I'm going to go crazy if I don't take time for myself but by the time everyone is in bed I'm exhausted too. .. :(

My husband will usually take the baby for a couple of hours one day a week so that I can get out. Not sure how old your little one is, but my son is 4 mos old and just recently started going to sleep in his own bed. Once he is down for the night that's generally my time to myself each day. Not sure if that helps, but it's what's been working for us!

It does get better. I'm a mother of two (soon to be 3) and have just moved to a new city so do not know anyone who can babysit my kids. What I do is try to have a girl's night out at least once a month. You'd be surprised what a difference that could make!

Can you get out and do things after hubby & baby is in bed? There are lots of 24 hour stores out there if you need to step out. Or you can just have a bath in peace... In the summer, while my kids would nap, I would sit in the backyard and read a book.

Try getting out for a short time when hubby is at home and can watch the baby. You'll find that you don't have to be out all that long before you start to feel better. Good luck!
