NEED Help!! Son Pees on everything!

I need help my 3 year old son pees on everything! My husband and I potty trained my son about a year and a half ago. He has a younger sister who just turned 2 and she is potty trained now, I would think that that would just be a re-enforcement to use the toilet to go pee but he is going the opposite direction. He pees in his floor in his bedroom on the walls, in the trash can we have in the bathroom, in the shower, a couple weeks ago he even peed on his older sister! I have tried spanking (please no negitive comments about that), time outs, taking away treats, everything I can think of. So I am reaching out for help. I do not know what else to do to get through to him that he can NOT do this! My husband and I have both talked to him and told him that this behavor is not acceptable and he will say ok I use the potty but then its right back to the same old peeing everywhere but the potty! Please someone HELP!!

Wow.. sorry to hear this...I started to have this problem, it was short lived for me tho..we tried all the method too, and spanking as well...he would stop for a day or so...what we did was personally take him to the bathroom EVERY time and stood there until he was done.. we praised him and bit , washed hands, and thats it... its time consuming, but it worked for us.. I hope this help...

Make him start cleaning up the messes himself. I think a lot of boys go through a phase like this. To them it's fun. My 3 year old peed on his toy lawn mower the other day, because he said it was out of gas and he needed to fill it up. I've just always made him go back and clean it all up himself (of course I go over it after, to make sure it is really clean). He doesn't like takeing time away from play to do this, so he's not doing it near as much.

I am having the same problem with my 3 year old son! I think he just enjoys hearing the sound in the trash can.. but I make him sit and while I clean it up and we dialogue (as much as you can) and he said he just wanted to... I told him that we only go in the potty. It seemed to have worked. He hasn't done it in about 2 weeks.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter does the same thing. It's like training a puppy. You have to remember they're still kids and they're going to have bad days, make mistakes, or forget. Maybe he is upset about something else in his life and is rebelling.
