Hi, I'm RaeAnne. I just recently joined here hoping to meet some mommy's. I'm having quite the difficult time right now as I have absolutely no friends. I'm a very social person. I love to talk and hang out! My hubby doesn't like to just talk about random things and feels they have no point so he gets upset when I just go on and on and on. I'm only 18... I got pregnant in high school so I lost a big group of friends. Over a year later, I still talk to some of my high school friends, but they are all heading off to college, lds missions, and just don't want to hang out with someone they can't relate too. My ONLY friend is a guy...we've been best friends for years but he leaves on a mission in November. I don't know what I'm going to do. There's no mommy groups in my area(Vernal, UT) that I can find. I'm pregnant with our next baby due in February, but I really want some friends. Someone to catch a movie with or go out to lunch. I'm so lonely. Sorry that my first post is a venting type thing but I just don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Try MEETUP.COM I just joined a SAHM group in my area. You are not alone. There are a lot of lonely moms out here. It will be O.K. You can also look into finding a church or spiritual group in your area. Hope you meet some new friends soon. I feel like I need time out for just me.

Hi Raeanne I came across your post and felt I needed to reply. I can relate to how you feel in many ways. I'm also new to this posting community website. I'm 25 with a 6 yr old and expecting my 2nd babygirl in February as well. Ive been married for 6 yrs now to my baby's father. With that being said I'm also a lonely mommy. My husband works 6 days a week and my daughter goes to school leaving me feeling empty and not sure what to do with my "me time". Most the time I'm stuck in the house due to financial issues. Leaves me frustrated and lonely.. Anyways I thought I would reach out letting you know your not alone ;)
