HI, i really like this group though i just joined recently and this is my first posting .my son is twenty weeks old and he seems to like our food very much he can even grab anything.i have started giving him cereal,should i add more food and what are suitable at hi age?.

No, it is not a good idea to give him 'adult' food yet in order to avoid allergies, What you can start doing at 24 weeks is to give him some vegetables or fruit, some would recommend you to start with vegetables since they are less sweet if you start with fruit He might won't wanna try the veggies after (think I made that mistake at the time!) Only give him one vegetable at the time so He recognizes the flavor and lets you know what He likes and what He doesn't, carrots or apples are always a good first choice. My daughter loved an applesauce I did it was just basically apple and cinnamon. Put a seedless and skinless apple chopped in small pieces in a pot with a cup of boiling water and a bit of cinnamon, leave to soften (just couple minutes) and smash with a fork. You can keep the left over in the fridge and give it to him at the next day max.
