10 weeks old? ( new mum btw for 1st time )

im asking because im sure my lo sleeps far too much for his age, obviously I know every baby is different, but people I know their lo's are hardly sleeping.. ill do a basic routine.. we sorta got which I did not push onto him.. he created it sorta by himself im just following along ..
6:30pm - bath - in which he will have full clean - hair too.. then have 5 minutes splash time as he's just started kicking the water with his legs and realising he's doing something lol
7pm ish - bottle - to which he sometimes will take full 5 oz but sometimes will only take 2 or 3 oz
After this - he will go straight into his cot and there is always a dodi to hand if needed but very rarely atm I put on the lullabys on baby monitor n he usually falls asleep on his own without crying.
6 am ish .. he will then wake for a feed to which he will take 5 oz have a burp & nappy change.. will stay awake for half hour ish - I usually bring him downstairs as I have custody of my brother whom I have to look after to.
by around 7:30 am he's usually fallen back to sleep till about 9am when he will take another 5oz and this usually carries on for a good part of the day
he will wake want a feed have a change etc he'll lay on his play mat or in his bouncer n within about an hour he's usually fallen back off to sleep lol
his most awake time is the afternoon latish about 3-4 pm n he usually will stay awake till bed time!

is this ok for him to sleep so much??

My son would not want to be awake for more than 2 hours at a time during the day until he was around 9 to 10 months. Very early on he started sleeping from 7 pm until 6 or 7 am alone. I finally stoppped worrying and just felt grateful that he was a good sleeper. My son still is in bed 7:30 to 8 pm and sleeps until 7 am. He turns a year old this Saturday and still takes at least 3 hour long naps during the day.

As long as your little guy is alert when he is awake and gaining weight at a steady pace, there is probably nothing to worry about. When he is awake, give him some "tummy time" and some colorful toys to reach for. Make sure to talk and sing to him! Enjoy him...this time goes very fast!

count your blessings and let us know when he starts teething - you'll be begging for these days back!
