No Diets!

I don't know about anyone else, but I feel very irked when my doctor tells me that my son needs to be put on a feeding schedule so he doesn't become obece. I for one was THE fattest thing as a baby, I looked like the Pillsbury Dough Boy and the Michilan Man had a baby and over fed her. :) Unless my kid is in school and is in danger of becoming overweight i'm not putting him on no freaking diet. I don't think that it is right for any mom to put their kids on a diet unless their weight is a helth risk. When my son goes through his growth spurts, he eats DOUBLE what he normally needs and sleeps double too. His body neds that extra nutrition to keep up with his growing litle self. That's just my opinion{Agree/Disagree}

If your child is over age 3 and the doc is telling you this you might want to causiously listen. Maybe just watch junk food, give fruits and veggies more often and make sure jr is getting some excersize. But baby fat isn't the same as obesity but its hard to tell what they will grow into and nonbabyfat is hard to lose. So to be safe just make sure jr. has a good diet...

dont put ya child on a diet as long as he is eating healthly he will be fine maybe if he was having macdonalds or takeaways den i suppose i would agree but as far as putting him on a diet no dont a mother does what she feels is best for her child/children so you do whatever you feel is best

I agree...as long as what your child is eating is healthy and that he's active. If you have a kids who does nothing but play video games & eat junk then I don't agree with your above statement at all! But if he eats good food, and plays sports a couple time a week then I don't see any reason to put your kid on a diet just because he's a little chunky. If his weight isn't a health risk then I'd be over it! Not everyone can be as thin as a stick!
