No longer a Stay at Home Mom.....

With the worsening economy, I decided it's time for me to reenter the workforce. While my husband is able to pay all of our bills, we think that it's best to make some extra money and pay off our van and home ASAP. I have been a SAHM for the better part of 17 years - only working when I needed to. My children are 16, 11, and 8 and I found a job that will allow me to still drop them off at school and pick them up in the afternoon.

I will miss being a part of this group. It has reminded me of the frustrations of being home with babies and the lack of independence I felt during those times.

Just remember moms, those years pass quickly and before you know it your children become the independent people we want them to be. Hang in there and continue to do what you think is best for your family.

God bless you all.

Hi Angie, Good luck with your new job! I hope it all goes well for you and your family. It is still awesome you will be there for your kids after school, what a blessing. I've been blessed also to be a stay at home mom. I do work at home around my kid's schedules but wouldn't have it any other way! Nicole Dilly
