Well, I became a stay at home mom because I was fired in July. I was denied unemployment and having been looking for a job. Today I got a job and start on Monday. I am happy and sad at the same time. Glad because we'll be able to pay bills again. Sad because I will miss being at home and playing with the boys. I have to remember that I am doing it to better our family, so we are able to go do things and have food and roof over our heads.
The thing is my husband is an EMT for our local fire department. He gets little pay to help save the lives of our community. It is very sad to me we pay the NFL and NBA (other sports players) to run around with a ball or whatever more WAY more the those that are helping to save our lives.

I am a stay at home mom except for 4months out of the year where I work with a temporary halloween company. I know how you feel. I love being home with the kids and this will be my last year here as the company's corporate office is closing in my area. I did find a great home business working for a great company that pays weekly, so I am hoping that I can get this business off and running and not have to find a job. Good Luck with your new job!!!

The thing is my husband loves his job and would hate to have to find another one. He can't wait to go to see what the "world" holds for him. He is very good at what he does.
I hope that that my job decides that they want to keep me perm. that would be great. I say that but I haven't even started.

It is so sad when we look how the workforce is these days. It is horrible to see it from your veiw. Those men are playing football knowing they could get hurt just for the pure pleasure of entertainment. You husband on the other hand going to work and possibly saving the lives of others for the pure pleasure of loving another and caring. Reality who deserves more respect and money? Well anyone in need of help will give it to your husband, I know I would. Hope the new job goes well even though that life is totally not fair!
