My daughter has similar issues around this time. Is she crawling or some what mobile? That may have something to do with it.
One way we work with this is peek-a-boo type games. This lets your little one know that even when they can not see you that you will be back. Once you get used to regular peek a boo try more variations like hiding behind a door. We worked up to where I would tell her I am going to another room and she would come and find me or keep playing with a toy.

my son use to do this back when he was 7-8-9 months an then one day he stop he used to scream bloody murder when i would go to the restroom io would be in there for a whole 2 mintutes with the door shut an he would sit by the door an cry his ped told me he just wasnt old enough to understand that you left for a quick second an that youll be right back

it could be your smell shes attatched to. Try putting one if your shirts that you've recently worn near her. If that doesnt work you may just need to let her cry for a little bit to get used to it.
