You need to slow down. My DH is obsessive about cleaning and he hates that I'm not. I keep my house clean but I believe that a little dirt is good. Your child won't develop an immune system if they don't get exposed to different germs. By constantly cleaning your not only running yourself down but also making it easier for your child to get sick.

Put your cleaning supplies in a room that you don't go into often, or even the garage. Its likely that if you don't see that tub of disinfecting wipes your not going to bust into them as quickly. Let your son get dirty, thats what kids (especially boys) do!

You have a son, your house is going to have little marks on it until he leaves!! It almost sounds like you are being compulsive about cleaning. Is your son at school now? Is it just giving you something to fill the time or do you really feel the need to clean so much. No-ones house is perfect and i have honestly never cleaned my walls! If you're son is still at home could you not focus more on doing stuff together and having fun instead of cleaning?! Some dirt is good for babies and you will be exhausted trying to keep everything super clean. Give yourself a break, can you do a day of not cleaning?? Or limit yourself to only spending an hour or two a day on chores. It is nice to have a clean house and of course you don't want things to get out of control but trust me you don't need to spend all your time cleaning. There is a great website called flylady.net, she has great tips on cleaning and organising. You might find it useful. Please please give yourself a break, it's only you that feels the need to keep things so clean. Be kinder to yourself and try not to stress xxxx
