I have been feeling very sluggish and out of shape lately. I noticed that being a stay at home mom has caused me to eat a lot more and having a six month old leaves little time for working out. Any tips?

I loved Wii fit and walks with hills, and eating but making it apples, green peppers, carrots, sugar snap peas and all those yummy things. I lost 50 pounds in about 6 months after 4 kids. Getting in a rut and not doing anything about it was my downfall, just get out of the house the more you do the more energy you'll have and baby will LOVE it.

Go to the park and get some fresh air - this will let you get exercise while playing with your child. Plus that fresh air will make them sleep better at nap time and then you can get down and dirty with some workouts - The Biggest Loser workouts are really good and I found that Tae-Bo slims and trims pretty well!!!!

Palates are a life savour. Depending on the video you get, they are only 20 min, and they slim and tone you. Do palates 5 times a week at least! (their quik so it should be easy for you) For cardio and weight losing, just go for an hour power walk at least 4 days a week. I started this routine a month after I hade my baby and so far ive lost 15 lbs. Which I know doesnt sound like much, but I look and feel so much better. Im not self concious anymore, and I have way more energy!

Yeah I just started taking my son to the park. It's about 1 1/2 miles from our house and he loves it. I just have to be extra careful, we are both fair skinned and burn easily. Lol. Lucky kid, he got that from his mom. I think I'll invest in some high spf sunblock for both of us and go for it. I tried the excresise tapes but I gave up. maybe I'll try again. Thanks for the tips

I feel out of shape too, but I have found that several dvd's are great for getting the heart rate up and not taking a lot of time. I like Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred it only takes about 25 minutes. I also have Mom's Into Fitness Postnatal Bootcamp. This one has several different routines of varying time frames and you can also customize your workout. They are great to do during naptime or even after your baby goes to bed. Another thing that I also enjoy is taking my son out in the stroller and walking for a half hour or more. He gets to enjoy the ride and you get a workout at the same time. Hope that helps.
