that's so wonderful you have a hubby that wants you to have some me time so take it! lol he is not a baby sitter he is the other parent. your placing his job higher above your own because he gets paid. you work! you deserve to have time for yourself with other adults. even though he goes to work he has time away from "kids". you work 24/7 with no brakes :) moms don't get off work at 5. lol take the time for yourself and don't feel bad, dad can handle it i'm sure :) good luck and have some fun. before you know it they will be all grown up.

My husband does this, too. Just make sure you thank him for letting you have time for yourself. Let him know how much it means to you. He's obviously a wonderful, caring, loving husband like mine is. It's not wrong of you to have time to be "Stephanie" instead of "mom" or "wife". I actually think it's a pivitol part of being a happy mother, and it's sad that a lot of other moms don't get that time. Enjoy your time (with the kids AND without them), and don't feel guilty. Oh, just make sure your husband knows that it's okay for him to go out every once in a while, too. Most husbands do that anyways, but just in case yours doesn't take the time for himself, too.

Absolutely not!!! Your mom guilt is gonna get in the way of enjoying yourself and appreciating your husband!!! To be the best mom you can be you need to take care of yourself, and you're so lucky that your husband sees that and is doing something for you without you having to flip out on him lol.

Just enjoy your little breaks and maybe return the favor once in a while.Oh and make sure at some point BOTH of you get to go out together!!!

I think that to be grateful and realize that he rocks is the best thing you can do. I know moms out there who expect everyone to watch their kids because they deserve to go out whenever they want, because they are people too, but the truth is, they are moms now. I feel that as long as you continue to appreciate your husband ( and let him know, often) you should go out guilt-free! I just with my hubby would do that!!! lol oh.... and mayble let him go out once in awhile too!!! Have a blast!
