Post Partum Depression?

I'm not really sure what to do. I think I might have post partum depression (my baby is 8 months old) but it does seem mild. I just greatly lack motivation to get anything done and feel like I am dragging all day I am soo tired, I get frustrated and feel overwhelmed really easily. I can't really afford to go to the doctor and I'm so worried about spending the money to go and find out it's nothing and if I do have post partum depression, I really don't like the idea of taking prescriptions on top of the fact I won't be able to afford it anyway. I guess I'm just looking for some advice.

I ended up feeling the same way so before my medicaid lapsed i went in to see my doctor. she perscribed me zoloft but i had to bay 70 dollars each month for it and i couldnt afford it. so i stopped taking it and started going back to the thing i liked to do. i started baking again and doing little projects for my son. right now im in the process of making him an ABC book. so just find little projects that you like to do and take your time. it is difficult when you have to stop in the middle but just remember you only have a baby for a while and you dont want to miss now because it goes away to quick. if that doesnt help, try asking your husband, a friend, or a grandparent to watch your child for a bit and take a couple hours to yourself. even if you just go for a drive it gives you time to clear your head with out your baby, go get some food and relax.
