My daughter is three also. She is almost all of the way potty trained, but she still has an accident every once in a while. I usually remind her/ tell her to use the potty every couple of hours. Also, she must go before we leave to go ANYWHERE and before bed.

Still.to this day though I do make her go before we leave anywhere and if I notice she hasn't gone in awhile I might say something to her also bribe bribe bribe my daughter loved m&m and dum. Dums

I was actually pretty passive with potty training just because I have younger son with a disability and time was lacking. Every so often I would try to put my older son on the potty and talk about big boy underwear, etc. Sometimes he would go and other times not. He actually trained first with poop (just after age 3) because it took too long for me to change the diaper. So he started pooping on the toilet on his own. Then months later I tried again a few times and finally he did pee (around age 3 3/4). The bottom line for him always was and still is "it takes too long". He hates to stop what he is doing to go to the bathroom, brush his teeth, wash his face. Many people have told me they will go when they are ready but after a while you get sick of changing diapers. In our case this turned out to be true. Every kid is different though.
