I have a serious problem with trying to potty train my 3 year old son. He will sit and he will act all excited but when the time comes, he will run to the room and not do it in the potty. We even left him one day totally naked to see if maybe that way, he would want to run to the potty but he screamed and freaked out because the poop came out and landed on the carpet. Yup, not nice but of course we just told him it was an accident and that he just needed to do it on the potty. We have bribed him and we have offered him different things and still nothing. Don't know what else to do???

I have a 2yr old daughter and I know its very different when it comes to potty training. She was great first few days, then out of no where she got scared n screamed when I sat her on toilet. If he doesn't want to do it, just wait until later on or next day. I found when I didn't pressure her, she would willingly go. Im not sure if this is what you would consider, but if he watches some1 else like his dad, it would reassure him. If he poops in his big boy pants, take him to toilet and dispose of poop on toilet and let him flush it himself. He could wave bye bye, also sitting at eye level and giving him something to keep him occupied so he is more relaxed. Hope this helps :D

My daughter was easy to potty train but my son is difficult. I don't force him ever but even my husband and his sister shows him and does it and still nothing. He sits comfortably and with a book but when it comes to him doing it, nothing happens. When i take him off the seat he sneaks in the room and does it in his pullups. I am seriously running out of ideas at this point. We do have the seat that attaches to the toilet so we are wondering if maybe it's better for him to get him a potty seat instead because my daughter trained with the seat attached to the toilet. I know children are all different so maybe that could help?
