Let them go each at their own pace, girls seem to potty train sooner than boys. Perhaps your son will see the praise your daughter receives for going potty and follow right behind.

DO NOT wait! If one is ready start with that one. Potty training can be a window and if you don't jump on it that window can shut making it lots harder down the road. You would think too, that if one is ready and the other is watching he may just hop on board. Either way you will have one less diaper to change sooner if you take hold of the opportunity.

Hi Tara,

I am in the same boat as you. The only difference is that my set of twins are girls and they are 23 months old. I do really think that one is ready, but not so sure about the other one. I have decided to wait until they are both ready, but I am thinking I could be hurting the one that is ready so I am just see/sawing with the idea of what to do now. I am hoping though that when I do go full force with the matter that maybe the one that is not so ready will see the one that is ready going and then she will want to do it. So, I do wish you the best of luck because we both know we need it for this big job that is sitting in front of us. Maybe we can compare our stories later on.

Have a wonderful day.
