hi my son is 34 months old and he wont go on the potty or on the toilet ...he had a wee on the toilet a while ago and since he would not do it at all ...i have bought him some really nice pants and he is fine and dry in them for up to 2 hours and i will ask him every 5-10 mins if he needs to wee but he sais no and then i see him wet ...i tried to time him as well but its like he knows and wont do it so when i go to do something then he comes to show me he did wee
i have tried sweets toys charts as rewards and he is not interested at all ...i dont know what else to do
any other tips that i can try ?thank you so much

Relax. That is the most important thing you can do. This is also very much a battle of wills. At that age all they can control is what and when they eat, and potty training! If you are stressed out about it, it will also make him feel more uncertain, and maybe that he is dissapointing you. Go back to training pants for a while. Keep taking him to the toilet every hour or so. If he goes, tell him you are proud of him if he kicks up s fuss, just stay calm, and try again later. Maybe, instead of the toys, sweets, rewards ( i don't believe in the reward system), sit quietly with him and read a story. When he is relaxed, everything will go easier. And good luck. Potty training was the hardest thing to do - for me anyway! Oh, and stop asking him if he wants to - for some reason they always say no, just take him.!
