Hi everyone. Right now I need some positive responses. I am a SAHM of 3, all under 5. My youngest is almost 9 months. I have been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks a ton since he was about 3 or 4 months old. I constantly feel like something is wrong with me and something bad is going to happen. My days feel long and some times purposeless. I think I am finally coming to the realization that I am suffering from PPD. I am going to the doctors tomorrow and going to see about going on Zolaft. I am so hesitant and nervous about it, so what I need is to hear success stories only. Did it help you? How long till it helped you? I just want to feel happy again.

Because as I just stated, I'm nursing and that's what the dr already suggested. I'm not doing this and expecting it to be the cure all. I'm going about it the right way. I'm seeking therapy as wel. All I was looking for was encouraging stories of people that had success with it before.

I am seeking help with a therapist as well. But what I was looking for was success stories only for those that went on zolaft to help give me hope.

Zoloft didn't work for me. I ended up switching medications and that worked. All medications are different.

Keep in mind, however, you shouldn't just go on medication and assume that will fix things. You need to also be seeking therapy to assist you. Noone should be treating any kind of mental health condition only with medication.

I started on zoloft a few months ago but my dose is so low, I really don't see a change. Going to call my doctor and ask to increase it from what it is now.
