I have a situation. I'm wondering if anyone has the same and has been successful:
I have a blended family with 2 permanent children and 2 on the weekends. My husband helps some, but is either stressed or tired all the time. I'm pregnant and can't do everything I used to at the moment, so now everything is a mess. Even the household has forgotten basic hygiene because I forget to remind them. I stepped in urine by the toilet AGAIN! When I get mad, they blame my pregnancy! I am unhappy and feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. I even thought about going somewhere else for the rest of the pregnancy. When I have the baby, I'll be in better shape to take on everything again, but I feel like I've been abandonded when I need help.

It is a great article. My hubby is good with the labor and delivery part. Its the after that he struggles with. I talked with him about it, but I've done that many times. I'm hoping this time it sinks in. This will be baby 5 and I just can't do it all alone.

There was a recent great post by a GUY about how important it is for male partners to be involved in the pregnancy and labor. The feeling of doing it alone is just awful and overwhelming. Make him read the entry on this blog: http://www.familygroups.org/blog
