My daughter has both Keratosis Pilaris (bad on her cheecks/face) and mild/moderate eczema on her legs... From my understanding is that ppl with eczema tend to have Keratosis Pilaris as well... we have creams for both to get the under control or complete gone but we can't use it all the time. I have tried baby lotions but they don't work... Does anyone know what we can use for both to help provent the out breaks???

Have her checked for allergies now its as simple as having her blood drawn.Sometimes allergies can irritate the eczema.I found this out after my daughter had an allergic reaction to peanuts. She has had eczema since she was little but we had been able to use aveeno baby but when she had the reaction to peanuts nothing over the counter worked and she was scratching herself up badly we took her to the doctor and the doctor asked us about her allergies we had no idea one was tied to the other. Also if your daughter has real sensitive skin aveeno products are wonderful.Don't use powder or regular lotions because sometimes this will iritate it further but look for lotions that are specific for babys with eczema and other skin conditions. If your daughter is really itchy and uncomfortable I have also found that oatmeal baths help alot.My daughters pediatrician also told me that regular dove soap is great too because of the extra moisturizer in it but with that you would have to be careful not to come in contact with her eyes.

try not to give her milk or mily product it could work. Also you might want to go see an alergist just incase she might have a small alergy to somthing and that could make it act up as well. I work with 2 children and they both had Eczema they dont have it any more one is 2 and the other is 3 so the good thing they grow out of it!
