My 10 month old son has been puking on and off since sunday. That day, everything he ate, he threw up!! That night, when it hadnt stopped(started that morning) , we took him to ER. The doctor there said to wait it out and get some Pedialyte to keep him from getting dehydrated. So we came home and put baby to bed. He puked less monday, with pedialyte about 3 times during the day, and then once in the middle of the night. He didn't puke all day, so I added his formula back into his diet last night. This morning I put him back on his regular diet, as he seemed totally back to normal, and then this afternoon after snack and some millk, he puked again!!!!!!!!!

I should also mention, he's had mustardy-smelling yellow stools (his are usually green from formula) and these have been more watery than usual, tho its less today than before.. when the doctor asked if he had diarrhea (sp?) i said no, because I dont know what that looks like in babies.. but now im wondering if thats what it is..

Heather, it sounds like you are doing all of the right things. I've googled some things on babies and vomiting. Based on your son's activity level, his mood, no fever or high temp, I have to assume it is a bug of some kind. In this case, there isn't a whole lot you can do except to just let it run it's course. I found these from a site, but again it sounds like you are already doing these things. I would say keep up with the Pedialyte and water and give him lots of love and hugs(babies often get scared when they vomit because it's new to them and they have no clue as to what's going on or why. Showing them that you are there and that it's ok is important.) Anyway, here is that link:

Sounds like he may have something viral(or maybe even bacterial). I'm sure the doctors ruled out anything serious correct? Just out of curiosity, is he teething yet at all? Sometimes, babies can get flu or cold-like symptoms(including diarrhea or other stool changes)with teething so keep that in mind(at 10mths, he is around this age). How does he act/his mood? Is he still pretty active or is he tired and lethargic? What is his temperature? I would say that if he is lethargic, overly tired, loss of appetite, has a high temp or beginnings of a fever, get him in ASAP! There could be something else going on that doctors aren't catching. Don't feel like you have to settle for one doctor's opinion either if you know your son's actions/behaviors don't fit his normal patterns. You may have to get a second(or even a third opinion sometimes)opinion to get the answers you need :)

Hope the little guy feels better soon, Many Blessings!
