My two daughters are very close in age and have been fighting non stop lately about everything!! I have tried time outs, talking, separating them, but nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions?

Mom told us we could fight but it had to be OUTSIDE! About a week later we started fighting over something just as a hard cold rain hit, and Mom threw us outside. giggle. Shortest argument Ive ever had!!!! Its AMAZING how QUICKLY you learn to compromise in a cold rain! giggle

My daughters are 5 & 3 and fight all the time, as far as I know all kids do, my rules are no hitting, biting or pushing or I put 2 dining chairs in the middle of the kitchen and stand doing the dishes or something ignoring them and they have to stay there until they're ready to say sorry and mean it. Other then that I ignore them, as far as I can see its building up social skills and half the time if i step in they only gang up on me instead anyway lol. Its really not worth the stress and worry on your side trying to brake up every little fight, you'll just make yourself ill & remember half the time they'll forget and be playing happily again 5mins later anyway.
I really hope this helps, chin up and take care of yourself :)

I don't know if this would help, but i have a 3 year old and almost 2 year old... and they are at that stage where they fight alot too... When they start fighting, i have started to take a favorite toy away from each of them, and they can't have it back until they are nice to each other... it seems to be working.

Also it depends on if their fighting is physical or yelling, because maybe its something that they might just need to work out on their own, as long as they are beating each other up.
