I am going to get my grandbaby a carseat for Christmas. She is 7 mo. old and has just about outgrown her infant seat. Which is the best one to buy?

Britax has the best carseats. They are pricey though and bulky/wide so if you don't have the money or space in the car theres no sense in going that route.

I have a little chevy malibu and have to fit 3carseats so Britax was out of the question for me. I ended up getting my son the Evenflo Triumph, I believe I paid $80 for it. It holds from 5-35lbs rear-facing and off the top of my head I believe up to 50lbs forward facing.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion on carseats. My suggestion, do your own research. Take into account how much room you have for a seat and your budget. The higher weight/height limit the better (means you can use it longer and keep the child safer!). It is recommended now that children stay rear-facing as long as possible (up to age 2 if possible!) so look for weight/height limits around 35lbs rear-facing.
