Refusing a bottle while teething?

My Daughter Riley finally started to get teeth coming in , her first tooth was rough but this second one in kind of throwing me for a loop. Riley is not having really wet diapers lately. I would say the last 3 days she has been refusing a bottle=( My Husband and I have attempted many many times to give her a bottle and she spits it out as soon as she realizes what it is. I am very concerned about her dehydrating. Riley's appetite is awesome, she is eating all of her foods fine , it's just the liquids she will not take in. Any advice? Should I take her to the hospital to make sure she isn't dehydrating?

I would call her doctor and just let them know what is going on. It's better to be safe than sorry.

But you could try giving her liquids like Pedialite out of a cup. (not a sippy cup), but a regular small cup, like a juice glass.) It takes a little while for them to really get the hang of it and keep most of the liquid in their mouths.. But my fist daughter could drink for a cup when she was about 8 months old with help still. We started a cup because she was the same way, she didn't like her teeth on the nipple It takes a lot a patience but just stick with it. We're starting it now with my second daughter because she is also getting teeth and doesn't like that bottle.

Good Luck!

My son is BF and eats solids once in a while but will not take a bottle so when i feed him solids i give him water with a spoon.

I would call her doctor and let them know, how old is she? My son did that around 10 months old, and turned out he just didn't like the taste of the formula anymore so we ended up just switching him to regular milk, but I'd atleast try to get her to drink some pedialyte.
