Seeking advice

I have been a stay at home mom since April, and some days I wonder if I am cut out for this. My DD is a little over two, but doesn't "play" much with me, especially in the mornings. She wanders around a lot, almost as if she is bored. I try to engage her, let's do a puzzle or playdoh or color. She has no interest in any of it. Then I feel like maybe I am just boring? We do get out of the house three times a week, but when we are home she seems so bored. I am beginning to think I am doing something wrong. Just looking for some advice..

ETA: We do storytime on Mondays, preschool on Wednesdays, and errands on Fridays.

You could look for a playgroup in your area. Then you would both have other Moms and kids to interact with. Maybe add in another day of preschool too if it is within your budget.

you are not boring! maybe SHE is bored........i too had a "bored" child. storytime wasnt enough, nor was one day of preschool. you have a bright and eager to learn new things child on your hands so definitly embrace it with joy! if you can i suggest trying to get her into an actual five days a week school......you will then (hopefully) see as i did that the reason she seems "bored" is because she is 100% ready to attend a sit down educational school......and age does not matter! my daughter just made the cut off for kindergarden, 4 yrs old, youngest looking baby in the classroom....but believe you me, her eagerness and anticipation to learn about history, numbers, geography showed me that MY bored little girl, was just as if not more (sorry...eek... i feel like im bragging now) intelligent as your average 6 year old. your daughter would benefit (and even YOU) from that kind of mind stimulating experience.

I think if she is bored at home , you can send her to pre school and she may feel happy playing with the friends she meet :)
