My little one was like that too, and everyone said "your spoiled her".. i'm sitting here thinking... she's a new born! She's can't be spoiled yet! If you spend the most time with her, then your the only person she feels safe with right now. Just slowly start letting other people hold her. Wait till she's hungry and let your mom feed her a bottle. (if your breast feeding, use a pump to your mom can feed her the breast milk). Eventually she'll bond with your mom, and she'll feel safe with her. Another thing you might need to do, is to hand her to your mom, and leave for a few minutes. Before you leave tell her, "i'll be back", and then when you do return, in a happy voice exclaim" i'm back!" It will take a while for her to actually get the concept, but at an earlier age she will not panic when you leave, because she knows if you say "i'll be back", that you will in face come back for her. A lot of children have anatural fear that if she can't see you, it means your gone forever. And it scares them. It's a comofort to them to know that you will be back to get them. :)

My son just started at 7 months old. He stayed the night with my mom and cried the entire night. So now she does not want him overnight anymore. What does she expect when he is home with me every day 24/7. Now we go over there and over to my inlaws, well pretty much anywhere and he starts crying as soon as they take him away from me. He will smile at them accross the room but he won't stay with them or be held by them. I guess I will have to wait a long time before I can go out for a couples night with my husband. Because at this rate I won't be able to leave him for even an hour.

My lil mama is 3 months. About a couple weeks ago i noticed when i handed her off to my mom she would start crying and squriming. And if i moved around the room her eyes would stay locked on me. So id take her back, and she hush up right away and look at my mom like, ur not my mom, lol.! She'll let people talk to her, and touch her hands while im holding her, and she'll talk back and laugh. But if they try to take her to hold her, she starts up! My fam says shes spoiled, but at 3 months there's know such thing.! So she started ealry with Separation anxiety....What about ur babies???
