My daugter is turnig 3 in May. She was fine going to the gym's crech for an hour, and being in playgroup once a week., until last week. All of a sudden she is just crying and not partisapating in any activity at these places. As long as I am with her she's fine, but when I leave the sobbing starts all over. We've never had this before, and I don't know what to do. She is a only child and I want her to sosialize with other kids too, and not just being with me the whole time.

i have a 3 year old and a 6 year old and it seem that they both go thru that at times. its just there emotions developing. some times you just got to set down with her and talk to her let her know that your there but she needs to have fun time and play with other kids so it gets her ready for school. it just takes time.

Just keep up with the playgroups and other activities. Kids need interaction with others and they will get used to it. It is just a stage.

This may be normal, but to just be on the safe side find out if something happened when she was away from you that may have scared or hurt her.
