My LO is almost 8 weeks old and has difficulty settling in for his night sleep, we start preparing him from about 5 pm and he will cry for about 3 hours. Does anyone else have this problem? Or a solution ... Please help ....

Yeah sometimes they just want to be cuddled and rocked and walked around with. If you're busy with other kids you could get a sling and walk around getting dinner etc. and he might be more settled enough to save your sanity anyway. He;s only little so it will get easier to put them down at night xxx

It's not gas or anything at that time ... it's just him crying incessantly. He's had his bath, gone for a walk and the room is dimmed with lights and he still cries and cries ... :(

I have a 6 week old and a 3 year old so going through it for the 2nd time. Our 6 week old has her last feed about 8.30. We make sure she's bathed and ready for bed prior to that. Then after her feed it's bum change and off to be. It's important when it's bed time not to over stimulate them with talk and touch. She might cry for a little but within 10 or so shes off to sleep and sleeps 6hrs then wakes for a feed and sleeps another 5....hope this has helped a little. Routine is key =D
