My boyfriend confessed that he is a little freaked out about sex now because, "There's a little kid moving around in there!" So now we have been doing other things, but I need sex! What can I do to convince him that everything is fine and he shouldn't feel weird?

IF YOUR ARE PLANNING TO TAKE HIM TO THE DOC. MAYBE HE WILL BE A LIL BIT SHY. TRY TAKING TO HIM AND MAYBE DOING OTHER POSITIONS WHERE HE WOUN'T FEEL LIKE HE IS PUTTING TOO MUCH PRESSURE OVER YOUR STOMACH.

My doctor told me that the baby is actually soothed by the rocking motions of sex. Tell him that he's actually helping the baby sleep so you can get some rest from the kicking and moving around. And, let him know that it's absolutely dark in there, the baby can't see "anything", and, honestly, NOBODY knows about sex until well AFTER they are born. All the baby knows is that it's being rocked to sleep and is getting "feel good" hormones. If that doesn't work, have him talk to your doctor.

My husband was like that for like a day and then he figured the motions would put the baby to sleep lol. You can try telling your husband that to see if it helps

The book "What to expect when you're expecting" has a whole chapter on that, let him read it, it is actually very good and healthy to have sex while you're pregnant, that and I hear the sex is so much better when you ARE pregnant, too bad I didnt get to experience it b/c I was put to bed rest in the beginning of my pregnancy..but do take the advantage, its FREE birth control! ha..ha..

I agree, the doctors is probably the best place to take him to get over his fear of this. My husband was the same way.

My boyfriend was like that too! I made him go with me to the doctor and the doctor told him it was fine. He also told us that in the end of your pregnancy sex can actually be good.

Bring him to the doctors with you and ask the doctor if its safe or not. Witch we know it is. and talk about it with your doctor with your boyfriend in the room. it might help make he feel more calm about everything.
