Should a baby be woken up for a dream feed to get him to sleep through the night?

My son is on 5 bottles a day, 250ml and goes to bed at 7pm waking up at 7am. He wakes up during the night for a bottle, any time between 3-4am.

My question is, do you think I should introduce a dream feed between 11/12 pm and see if he sleeps through the nigh? I am not to keen on dream feeding as I personally think this will turn waking up around this time into a habit. If I continue to feed him when he wakes up during the night, will he at some stage wake up around 7am once solids are being introduced.

Advice and opinions appreciated.

personally (and it's just my opinion) i wouldn't do a dream feed at that reason is this - if you do the dream feeds every night, you're not going to know when he could sleep through. in a month or so he may be able to sleep through but if you're dream feeding you may not know that he developed that ability. i personally feel as if it messes up the body's natural ability to feel full through the night if you're feeding before they are wanting it. on another note- many people dream feed and it works for them :)
